The browser issue is a complicated one, so in order to be brief, I am going to make this simple.

All of the other browsers on the market are flawed in their implementation of current web standards as set forth by the W3C, which is the organization that creates these standards. This means that when I design a web page that conforms to the W3C's guidelines, it doesn't display properly in these other browsers. Having done this for a few years, I have finally decided to stop

• Making multiple versions of my web site to support different browsers, and/or
• Dumbing down my web site so it can be viewed on all browsers.

Internet Explorer has evolved into a browser whose market share at this time is hovering between 87 and 90%. I want you to be able to view my web site, so please, if you do not want to get the latest version of IE here, I am working on a version of this site that will veiwable on all browsers.

If you have Javascript turned off, I probably don't have to tell you how to turn it back on. But in case you are at work and your IS department has turned it off, simply go into the options or preferences menu of your browser, look for the Javascript option, and turn it on. Why? Well, for one thing, my site will only work with Javascript enabled browsers. The Counter.com shows that over 86% of all surfers worldwide have Javascript-enabled browsers. Javascript is the programming language of the web, and by having it turned on, your surfing experience will be greatly improved. There are some incredible sites that simply can't be viewed without this essential web technology. One caveat though; if you ever surf for porn, then turn it off. Porn sites insist on using those ridiculous pop-up window loops that you can't escape from. When you are done with your porn surfing, simply turn it back on.

Flash has a 95% market penetration. It enhances your web experience substantially. This is without a doubt one of the coolest technologies out there. Oh sure, there are some bad Flash sites, but there are some amazing ones too. Don't cut yourself off from some of the most innovative web sites out there. Get Flash now.
